Who’s ready for a reboot?
Travel has a way of bookending certain chapters in a person’s life: gap years, graduation trips, honeymoons, divorce trips, work sabbaticals, retirement, etc.
For LA native Marin May, her recent solo trip to Paris and Portugal marked a new chapter in her life – independent travel.
To be fair, Marin has always loved to travel and made it a point to expose her son to new cultures and experiences whenever possible. But now that her boy is nineteen and off to college, Marin is learning the ropes of flying solo – and she’s loving it!
Working on the corporate side of the real estate industry, Marin has mastered the art of maximizing her work trips to see plenty of the US, but as her recent adventure proves, she occasionally gets sent overseas as well. And with her newfound empty-nest freedom, Portugal and Paris are just the start.
We talk about her numerous visits to Europe, including her particular fondness for Switzerland. She also recounts some hectic flight Tales, talks about her dream destinations, and what travel has meant to her.
Sounds like someone’s passport is about to get a workout! Keep those shades on Marin, because the future is bright!
