Nowadays, the treasure can be found at the gift shops that are aboard every cruise line. And when you’re looking for the rare gem Tanzanite, then Mariana Cestellos is the person you want to see.

Mariana works for a company that specializes in Tanzanite, and spends months at a time on ships around the world.

I sat down with the Mexico City native on board the Holland America Nieuw Amsterdam and talked about her summer in Alaska, what her traveling future holds, and where are the best places to go in her hometown!
