Kristin Yantis co-heads a PR agency tasked with selling Vail, CO not only as a winter ski mecca, but also as a summer destination.

Kristin was nice enough to invite yours truly and several other travel journalists to Vail recently for a climb up 13,000-ft Homestake Peak (see accompanying story).

We sat down for a chat on the last night of the trip after an amazing dinner to talk all things Vail.

It was a great reminder why the Rocky Mountains do indeed, rock.
