If you think I’m referring to a Shaft-era supercool cat of the streets, well, you’d be half-right.

Ernest White II is a supercool cat of the modern age, and the streets he prowls may be anywhere from Sao Paulo, to Cape Town, to the Dominican Republic and beyond.

The author and travel journalist is a Jacksonville, FL native who acquired his wanderlust at an early age, even living briefly in Sweden as an exchange student in high school. He went on to live in five different countries and travel to over 70.

Ernest now has his own travel TV show airing on PBS – Fly Brother.
