It all started with tennis.
Growing up on Long Island, Dorie Klissas grew up playing and traveling as a competitive tennis player. When the championship dreams ended, tennis opened another door into a meeting with legendary tennis broadcaster Bud Collins, who helped Dorie get her first job on a TV crew.
For the next 20+ years, Dorie worked her way up to network producer, covering major tennis tournaments and later, producing segments for nine #Olympic Games. She later worked on The Today Show and CBS Evening News.
While seeing the world through a camera lens, Dorie also made time to travel the world for pleasure as well, filling her passport with many exotic stamps (and wine stains, as she particularly loves vineyard regions!)
Still living in NYC, Dorie now runs her own media production company, doing major work in the health care arena. Yet, she still travels whenever her time allows. And we’re grateful to hear about it.
Thanks, Dorie!
