Let’s hear from the judges!
Actually, Lance Ringnald doesn’t have to worry about getting high marks from judges anymore since his competitive days as a world-class gymnast are behind him. He now leads a much lower pressure life being judged by audiences on cruise ships worldwide.
Lance moved around a lot as a kid, but his athletic talent eventually led him to live and train in New Mexico. The move paid off, and at 18 he became the youngest member of the 1988 Men’s US Olympic Gymnastics Team in Seoul, South Korea.
He later won gold at the Goodwill Games, and battled through serious injuries to make alternate on the 1992 Olympic team. Soon after, Lance looked to his next chapter.
He performed on a cruise ship as a last-minute fill-in for his friend and fellow gymnast Kurt Thomas, and realized he had a knack for entertaining audiences. Thirty years later, he’s still on the high seas, not only wowing audiences with his juggling and gymnastic feats, but also giving seminars on tools to improve memory.
Let’s just say Lance is winning gold in the all-around life competition these days.
Thanks, Lance!
