Wherever there are people, there are people who could use a good laugh.
Comedian Graham Elwood put that theory to the test in 2025 when he sold everything he owned, left Hollywood, and moved to Thailand full-time.
Now making his home in the bustling city of Bangkok, Graham performs for comedy fans not only in Thailand, but Vietnam, Japan, Hong Kong, and Bali among other exotic locales.
He’s even got a late night TV talk show in the works, looking to become Bangkok’s answer to David Letterman.
Graham, who was one of the first guests ever on Travel Tales, stopped by on a recent return back to LA to sit down and share his experiences of living abroad: culture shock, comedy differences, finding housing, building a community, navigating foreign bureaucracy, and much more.
That is, not before we had to get him his fill of Mexican food immediately upon arrival!
