For many professional athletes, retirement often leaves a gaping hole where daily adrenaline and excitement used to be. Filling that void leads many into some dark, even deadly spaces.
But luckily for former professional jockey Rael Zieve, he had a wife who had long worked in the travel space. She noticed that Rael found great joy and pride promoting his native Zimbabwe and surrounding countries as places people should visit.
With his wife’s guidance and encouragement, Rael started his travel site, keeptravelling.africa (and yes, Americans – that’s with two “L”s!) to give people an insider’s advantage on booking memorable experiences.

Now based in England, Rael’s passion for his African homeland has not faded (especially during chilly UK winters!) But through his travel business and now, podcast, he has ample opportunity to talk about Southern Africa to anyone who will listen.
