Eat my way through Europe? Yes, please!
A job and a relationship led Philly native Kenny Dunn to move to Rome, Italy back in 2009. What he thought might be a short-term stay is still going to this day. What didn’t stay long was his job, and he soon found himself unemployed in the Eternal City.
Like most expats living in a city as popular as Rome, Kenny often found himself giving tours to visiting friends and family. He soon realized his private tours could be a business.
That’s when he launched Eating Europe, a travel site dedicated to showing visitors interesting foods and restaurants they wouldn’t otherwise find at home or without insider knowledge.
Soon Kenny expanded beyond Rome, and Eating Europe now has tours and guides in most major cities around The Continent.
Authentic food spots, knowledgeable guides, and amazing food and drink? Sounds like a recipe for success.
