When life on land is in turmoil, a life on the water sounds pretty good to a lot of people.
For Ontario resident Kate Fincham, it was the Covid pandemic that inspired her to make a major change – she bought a houseboat and moved in.
Ignoring the warnings of family and friends, Kate climbed aboard her cozy houseboat outside of Toronto in late 2020, and has been there ever since.
Despite the ups and downs, Kate has taken to harbor living like the proverbial duck to water. And she has thousands of fans along for the ride on her popular Instagram page, @mylittlehouseboat.
Along with her houseboat adventure, Kate also shared her Tales of of her post-college years working on a private yacht that sailed to every corner of the world.
